What is Lifestyle Coaching?
Coaching can be described as an on-going confidential conversation between two people who trust and respect each other.
Coaching works on the understanding that we all have the resources we need within us, but that we also need some outside support to help us access them, to facilitate our progress.
It can be an empowering process that can help you to explore and move forward with any chosen area of life you choose.
How does Thinking Fitness Lifestyle Coaching Work?
What lifestyle coaching means to us at Thinking Fitness is supporting
you in finding and living the life you want to live in terms of your
overall wellbeing. This includes your mental, emotional, physical and
spiritual health*.
By asking powerful and incisive questions to help you create new perspectives and access solutions, your coach can support you and help you to reach the goal's that you have chosen to work on.
We can talk about your dreams and aspirations, how you like to work, what you do and don't feel comfortable with and what pace you would like to work at. I will always check in with you that you are getting what you need from our sessions.
We will help you build your own 'environment for success' that's sustainable for the rest of your life.
We believe that knowledge without ownership is useless to you in the long term so we actually train you to leave us & become truly independant in the future!

When there is a breakdown in one or more of the six foundations of
health – thinking, breathing, hydration, nutrition, exercise and sleep –
your overall wellbeing will be affected.
For example, we often put a lot of importance on exercise, hydration
and nutrition when it comes to a ‘healthy lifestyle’, but can
underestimate or ignore the impact of disrupted sleep patterns and a
depressed state of mind.
For our lifestyle to be optimal, it’s important that each of these areas are addressed.
We have a strong belief in making changes to your lifestyle that are realistic, achievable and long-lasting. Our approach is not one of abstinence, deprivation and rigour. Nor do we believe in quick-fix cures.
Some of the areas we are likely to look at are:
- Assessing your current lifestyle through holistic lifestyle questionnaires
- Your vision of your ‘optimal lifestyle’
- Understanding the impact of your thoughts and feelings on your well-being
- Learning to tune into what your body’s telling you
- Eating for well-being, without the fads
- Functional exercise programs
- Keeping your life in balance
Many approaches to lifestyle change work very well in the short-term,
but the majority of people tend to go back to their old habits. This is
often because there is too much focus on the symptoms and not the cause.
We will work to uncover the barriers that get in the way of change, and
we will work with you to develop the skills so you too overcome them.
Lifestyle Coaching Package Options
Personal Lifestyle Coaching Session - $30 for 30 minutes
Personal Exercise Program (Generic)- $45 (Discounted to $15 for Thinking Fitness (TF) Members)
Personal Exercise Program (Specialised eg.Sport/Rehab)- $60 (Discounted to $30 for Thinking Fitness (TF) Members)
Initial consult via phone, email, skype or face to face to explore & evaluate current lifestyle & exercise goals & prescribe an exercise program. Exercise Program emailed as a pdf that may be viewed or printed. Individual exercises can be viewed in video format & efforts may be recorded on tracking table. Exercise program portability to your mobile phone for viewing & tracking can also be arranged on request*

Monthly Coach (4weeks) - $125
- 30 minute initial consult via phone, email, skype or face to face to explore & evaluate current lifestyle habits & exercise goals
Weekly Coach (4weeks) - $170 + Meal Planning Option** $160 ($330)
- same as 'Monthly Coach' (4 week) package, plus weekly 15 minute telephone consultations to analyse your progress, provide feedback & support, make adjustments & help create behavioural change strategies towards achieving your goals
Monthly Coach (12weeks) - $275
- same as 'Monthly Coach' (4 week) package, plus two additional 30min review & reset consults & two additional personalised exercise training programs
Weekly Coach (12weeks) - $440 + Meal Planning Option* *$310 ($750)
- same as 'Monthly Coach' (12 week) package, plus weekly 15 minute telephone consultations to analyse your progress, provide feedback & support, make adjustments & help create behavioural change strategies towards achieving your goals
*Mobile Phone - Exercise program portability can be arranged for $10 per month extra.
**Meal Planning Option includes;
- every single meal chosen for 1-3months based on your personal preferences including culture, available preparation time, special dietary needs etc.
- every day your meals are adjusted & balanced nutritionally based on your personal goals eg. fatloss, maintenance, or lean tissue gain
- a detailed shopping list of ingredients from all your weekly recipes is compiled & printed based on the number of people you're cooking for in your home
- we further adjust your weekly meal plans based on ongoing personal taste & needs
